Book review #2

During the holidays, I have read a book named as 'The war of the worlds', this book is written by H.G.Wells, an adventure story writter.
This story is mainly distributed into 3 sections, the first section is about how human discovered the Martians, the second section is about how humans fight against Martians, and the last section is about how the Martians were killed.
This book is a science fiction book which talks about the thought of how Martians attack humans. At first, no one is concerned about the Martians until they saw an alien spaceship soldiers and polices try to broke the spaceship but Humankind's most advanced technology is old-fashioned by Martians standards. Sometimes later, more and more spaceships appeared and the Martians have started to attack the humans. The Martians are equipped with strong machines and heat ray.
The Martians march through River Thames, then reached London, and done a lot of destructions there. However, sometimes later, The main character which are running, escaping, hiding all the time has found out that the Martians have all died because of the smallest thing in the world, the bacteria that caused illness and death in all living things. The Martians are totally defenceless of these bacteria.
I really enjoy reading this book as this novel is filled with excitement, and I enjoy reading adventure stories.

Book review #1

During the holidays, I have read a book named as Charlie and the chocolate factory. This book is written by Roald Dahl, a well-known writer that loves to writes adventure stories for kids.

This book is mainly distributed into two section, the first half is about how Charlie gets one of the golden ticket which hidden in a Wonky chocolate bar, the second half is about Charlie's adventure in the chocolate factory.

This book is a well-known book which has also been make into movie, The story is mainly about a small boy, Charlie Bucket's adventure. Charlie loves chocolate, and Mr Willy Wonka, the most wondrous inventor in the world, is opening the gates of his amazing chocolate factory to five lucky children who found the golden ticket which hidden in Wonky chocolate bars. One day, Charlie luckily found 50 pounds on the road and he use some of the Wonky chocolate bar, and he luckily found one of the golden ticket, and he got the chance to visit the chocolate factory with other 4 children.

When Charlie and his grandfather, Joe, is visiting the chocolate factory, they found a lot of interesting things in the chocolate factory, such as the tiny workers, Oompa-Loompas which worked in the chocolate factory, the chocolate river, the gum-gum machine, the chocolate television......

However, the other four children except Charlie, has got their punishment because they not listen to Mr.Wonka's advice. At last, Charlie and his grandfather, Joe, were the family left in the chocolate factory with Mr Wonka, Mr Wonka decide to give Charlie the whole chocolate factory when he is old and Charlie happily accept it. The story ends when Charlie broke his old house and brought his whole family to the chocolate factory with Mr Wonka.

I enjoy reading this story as I love to read adventure story that with a good ending, I have also watch its movie before so I could have more understanding of this book. I have also read other books that written by Roald Dahl such as The BFG and Matilda.

Son : On Tuesday, she said 4+4=8 And on Wednesday, she said 6+2=8.. If she can't make up her mind, how do I know the right answer?

> A mother and son were doing dishes while the father and daughter were watching TV in the living room. Suddenly, there was a loud crash of breaking plates, then complete silence. The daughter turned to look at her father.
Daughter : It's mummy!
Father : How do you know?
Daughter : She didn't say anything.

> Girl: Do you love me?>
Boy: Yes Dear
Girl: Would you die for me?
Boy: No, mine is undying love.

> Man: How old is your father?
Boy: As old as me
Man: How can that be?
Boy: He became a father only when I was born.
